I have come to terms with the fact that they have a wonderful life while in our care, and they were put here by the Lord for our benefit. I still don't develop relationships with the ones we will eat. We have 4 pigs headed to the butcher soon. I feed them and care for them, but I sure don't scratch their ears and spend enormous amounts of time with them.
